Bribie Island Pile Durability Works

Commercial Marine Group delivered underwater pile durability works at Bribie Island for RoadTek (TMR), completing a structured program of underwater cleaning, inspection, and targeted remediation to support long‑term asset durability.

What we Delivered

Across the project, CMG completed underwater inspection of 185 piles (headstock to seabed) and delivered 13 durability wraps using the specified Denso SeaShield 2000FD series system.  The contracted inspection quantity covered a total of 1,640 m of underwater inspection length.

The Challenge

The worksite presented strong currents and tide-driven constraints, requiring careful timing and sequencing to maintain safe access and consistent productivity. Heavy marine growth also demanded effective preparation to ensure inspection quality and successful wrap installation.

The Solution (how we approached it)

  • Implemented tide‑aware planning and safe marine work controls aligned to site conditions.
  • Executed cleaning and preparation suitable for inspection and durability wrap installation requirements.
  • Installed durability protection using the specified SeaShield 2000FD system and associated preparation/injection processes in line with manufacturer requirements.

Outcome

Delivered a high standard of inspection and remediation outputs with clear documentation and media records to support client assurance and future maintenance planning.

Key Stats

  • 185 piles inspected
  • 1,640 m underwater inspection length
