OVERVIEW
CMG were engaged by GPT Pty Ltd for the provision of labour, materials, tools, and equipment required for remediation works on the piles and beams located at riverwalk, which is an approx. 135 meters of leased walkway along the Brisbane River between the Riverside Ferry Terminal and Riparian Plaza.
Riverwalk also forms access to multiple retail outlets located at the lower level the Riverside Centre.
Design and Construct
- Blast and paint of 29 deep steel beams under the river walkway
- Concrete pile remediation of 50 pre-stressed hexagonal concrete piles using QuakeWrap Carbon Fibre and Epoxy
- This project involved a complex program working around tides with access limited to low tide and ferry traffic presenting with logistic challenges
- Two crews working simultaneously on two vessels and a supply barge
